Liveblogging the Republican Debate: A Disclaimer

Before tonight's Republican presidential debate in Iowa gets started, a quick disclaimer:

The Fix is blogging this event in real time. The following posts are meant to provide a flavor of the proceedings but should not be treated as an official transcript.

And, since we've been through a lot of these debates together, I'll be taking more time to watch the candidates' interaction and make sure I capture the key moments of the gathering. That means a few less posts but -- hopefully -- a bit more insight.
