UFOs and Alien Life

In the weird last minutes of the debate (the period, by the way, when The Fix made it onto the basketball court in high school) Rep. Dennis Kucinich (Ohio) gave us a highlight.

Asked about the statement by actress Shirley MacLaine that Kucinich had seen a UFO at her house, Kucinich said that he had. He quickly sought to clarify -- an "unidentified flying object" he said holding up his hand -- but man oh man.

The big news tonight: DENNIS KUCINICH HAS SEEN A UFO.

Obama did not take the bait when asked whether he thought there is life on other planets. "I believe there is life here on Earth," he said, turning his answer into a domestic policy statement.

I am 54 years old, now living with one of my daughters and grand-babies. We of the surface of this planet, are not suppose to know of celestial colonies associated with this planet long before it was inhabitable. I have spoken what I know to be true, and now I'm watched. Web sites I set up to get this information out, are being blocked. E-mail replies are being tampered with, even my medicines and health are being tampered with. Even if you try, I might not get your response. They want to rid themselves of me, and make it appear to be an accident. If I go on, I'll just sound like a fruit-cake. So I'll send you what the government under bondage, don't want you to know

WE HAVE NEVER BEEN ALONE
GLOBAL WARNING/GLOBAL WARMING
Earth's Core is Changing Back
KNOW that the design and creation of Earth's core was and is more than just a random creation of nature. From the beginning Earth's core was purposed for a specific celestial function, and has now begin a timely predestined shift of it's mantle plates in the gradual return back to it's original function. Such regressing changes are those which has off-sit increasing earthquakes, rising surface temperature, and increasing temperature changes in ocean and sea floors which will continue unto boiling degrees and the evaporation of all such waters. Know that most all historical documents pointing to the End of Days, were records established for an evolving mind of people that would one day seek to understand the science as to the why and how such devastating events were to take place. KNOW that the Core of this planet was property of an Ancient Colony and their governing Power Source, (GOD HEAD) long before it's heated mantle Core fell from a hidden pocket of space to then temporarily appear as a fallen star; Throughout this galaxy many such mantled Cores did fall which was recorded as the era when a tenth of stars fell from heaven; Long before this mantle Core's ignited flames did die out, and long before changes of this Rock's surface cooled unto tolerable degrees, the Core of this planet rested in a higher region of space outside this seventh Universal Plane of endless darkness; Even long before surface life spawned and began to evolve from the blending of dust-like Dehydrated Plasma and the passing of a released electrically charged solar-like wind particles known as a very complex mixture of Cosmic Elements, which did also generate from upper space during the time all planets were much closer together in this region of our solar system, most all Souls now inhabiting this planet, did also hold existence outside this Seventh Universal Plane in Higher Regions of space; What many have failed to understand or remember, is that during all early evolving of this global surface we now call Earth, there were also the re-homesteading of many Celestial Tribal Colonies and many advanced Celestial Colonies which were falling from there once held higher Celestial positions on the upper side of this known Universal Plane of vast darkness. Most such Tribal Colonies and advanced Colonies knew nothing of the other Tribal Colonies and their Advanced Colonies before this famed falling of MAN took place, even though many displaced Colonies falling in this region of the galaxy, were of the same Parenting Source of Power (GOD Head) which hold many associated branched Colonies and their Celestial alignments in place. Yet Power Sources associated with those Colonies which were falling from higher position, had been cut off in order to keep from contaminating their Parenting source of Power for they themselves had become contaminated by the action of ONE. Such fallen Celestial Tribal Colonies are different from colonies of the Neanderthal man. These were spawned by the blending of those Celestial Elements during the Core's early surface evolution many eons after the fall. These such groups of the Neanderthal man were nurtured in separate tribal areas, they were overseen by individually established advanced celestial Colonies. Till this day, developments of upper celestial colonies and all works of their advanced technology, were kept secret from surface matters of this planet. Over time, individual Pyramid Power Sources associated with advanced Colonies which had re-established their homesteading above Earth within pockets of hidden space, began to loose energy, such energy controlled the very invisible walls of their Celestial Bubble, even those invisible walls encircling their associated Tribal Colonies. During this era, Pyramids of their Exotic materials falling in frequency acceleration, lowered themselves from upper positions, to settle in view atop the surface of this planet. It was during the purging of each such Pyramid's "Plasma Core" Eye, that cause a back-up of associated minerals to fill every open area of the Pyramid's inner structural design. After such a purging, the actual Structure of the Pyramid, continuing in it's frequency de-acceleration, did vanish from view to set in what is referred to as the first level of the eighth Universal Dimensional Plain, some refer to this zone as the first level of Hell or purgatory. As each Exotic Structure of each Pyramid vanished from the surface of this planet, each left behind a molded cast of their inner structures, one such casting is now referred to as the Sphinx. This marked the era when Gods became Kings, and the era when their were giants (structural Hosts of UFOs) in the Land. Now that the very foundation of Celestial Colonies and their lands had fallen from higher celestial place, their Flying Crafts became permanent resident for a selected few from each Colony of advance technology. The remainder of the Colony's 'Plasma Filament memory of Intelligence" referred to as a Soul, were put in the collective of 'accelerated stasis' which were inside a Colony's specifically designed mirrored global devices (ranging from seven feet in diameter to twenty feet in diameter, depending on the size of the Craft). Some Crafts were as large as known cities. Each such mirrored device had been referred to as the 'Bosom' of the Crafts. Tribal Colonies had similar yet larger mirrored Devices which were fifty feet in diameter. These were those associated with the Eye of a Colony's Pyramid Power Source. In this manner a specific count of the Colony could live out tribal lives in their settled regions. Then at the point of disembodiedment, a Soul would be drawn in, to find shelter and periods of rejuvenation in accelerated stasis, which would allow a Soul already in stasis to be reincarnated as a tribal member. In time, all Flying Crafts large and small, began to deplenish of power. Some hid themselves in mountains, some in the ocean. Larger Crafts were dissembled and laid in different places. All were to wait for the replenishing of a specific quantity of a Pure Plasma Compound, unmixed with the electron element referred to as the (sin product). Such a Plasma Compound contaminated with the electron, would not be able to accelerated to that Marc necessary to quantum leap outside this the Seventh Universal Plain. But then came this other distant and foreign Colony of advance technology, which deceived the Colonies of advanced technology associated with this planet. This wicked Colony portrayed to have come from outside this Seventh Universal Plain, offering advances of their technology for the benefit of all celestial colonies associated with this Planet as well as for the good benefit of surface humanity. When they actually had a very devious plan in play. Offering great advantages, this wicked colony secretly engineered a power facility using an unorthodox technology for the purpose of using a much heavier accelerated hydrogen gas. One part of their power facility was adapted to facilities already on the moon unknowingly to many humankind, the other was attached to facilities already positioned below ocean waters as to abstract hydrogen ions from the Earth's core. With all things in place a powerful traction beam was activated from this colony's associated giant "cathode satellite" which had been set in outer space by these celestial perpetrators, of whom most all celestial colonies associated with Earth had believed to be a representative from outside this the seventh Universal Plane, and associated with their original Parenting Source of Power, One who would return them to their original Higher positions which they had long since fallen from. To this day, as this cathode satellite set far out in space appearing as a twinkling star, it draws power from Earth's core through the adapted facility positioned on Earth's moon. But on that day, the beam was used to widen a rip in a matrix of time, in order to pull out this colony's ancient pyramid power source from the back side of the Universal Foundation from which it had been banished long long before. At that time, having altered the original power facilities on the moon and the one at Earth's core, they reversed all polarities of the energy beam which linked the moon with Earth's core (through the Bermuda triangle) . This in itself not only changed the Frequency of Earth's ozone layer, it also severed the original alignment of celestial colonies which had already been established, these were now lost in space and time. Now Earth was linked with the aligned colonies held under bondage by these of the wicked colony, and so was the U.S. There was war in heaven but the wicked colony prevailed, until now; Earth core is changing, it's mantled plates have self started in a new arrangement, which is cutting off the unorthodox usage of it's accelerated hydrogen ions. For this reason all associated with the celestial alignment of this wicked colony will fall from it's position. This in itself is both good and bad for the people associated with the Earth's core. Because of this, Earth as we know it, will soon be no more.

I'd just like to know if any of you posting here, do, in fact, know that UFO's DON'T exist, because if you do absolutely know that they DON'T exist, I think you would find many more meaningful things to do, than deny the existence of UFO's at this site! I personally have never seen a UFO, but just because I haven't seen one, doesn't mean they don't exist. I don't know if they exist or not, but I do know that at one time, people thought the world was flat. Anything not proven to be fact is possible. It's even possible that some of you who are so critical, may one day develop intelligence!

Hey, book134, "discussions with God" are called "Prayers." Look it up. I know liberals hate religion, and God, unless they can twist it to support the Democrat Party Platform, but get used to the idea that 90%+ of Americans believe in God, and you're hate speech against them will come back to haunt you.

Just like Kucinich's aliens will come back to haunt him.

So Kucinich (A mere Congressman) says he may have seen a UFO.

A much more scary fact is that we have a President who claims to have regular discussions with God.

I don't like a single thing about Dennis Kucinich. i think he is a radical, incompetent idealist who is everything that Bush is but just on the opposite side. He said that he seen an "unidentified flying object" not a alien spaceship. A deformed bird on fire counts as an unidentified flying object if nobody can tell what it is. Regardless, it is naive to think the idea of aliens is ludicrous. Somewhere, there must be other life forms. I don't believe what Kucinich saw was an alien ship, or even that if there are aliens that they know we exist or are even necessarily as intelligent as we are. Kucinich probably saw a plane or something insignificant. Still, the media talk of how ridiculous it is that he said that is crap. First of all, at least he's honest. Second, Kucinich says WAAAAAYYY more stupid, insane, and idiotic things on a daily basis. So who cares?

Chris Cillizza and kent betts: Read the politico, it seems that by and large most writers there agree with my interpretation of Obama's alien reply. Had Hillary had said it, the media would've been spending hours talking of what a memorable line it is. It seems that not all of the media realizes that Obama's expectations are higher than any candidate can reach. I'm not saying it should boost Obama to a 30-point lead in every poll, but it was a good spontaneous, on-your-feet response that he turned into a beneficial response for him.

Kucinich is a wing-nut who shouldn't have even been there. He has as much chance of being elected President as I have - by the way, I'm not running. Keeping these low-level worthless candidates in the discussion distracts attention from the serious candidates with talk about topics like "UFO's." Too bad the system isn't such that when a Kucinich says "I'm going to run for President!" someone can't say "NO!."

Which part is he lying about??

Posted by: Carole1 | October 31, 2007 11:55 PM | Report abuse

UFOs are real. And by UFO I don't mean unidentified flying object. I'm speaking of one of the several hundreds of documented simultaneous visual & radar sighting of a solid, intelligently controlled, technologically advanced, flying object.

It's a fact. 99% of the information is classified but some very high ranking people have spoken out. There has been solid research documenting a govt cover up.

Read Richard M. Dolan's book "UFOs and the National Security State" and tell me the federal govt is not engaged in a massive conspiracy to manage information concerning UFOs.

Most are simply a case of mistaken identity. A small fraction are so unexplainable, an alien spaceship is the most logical explanation.

Look up the famous 1976 UFO over Tehran Iran.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_Tehran_UFO_incident

http://www.ufocasebook.com/tehraniran.html

There is a declassified DIA message outlining this case. The analysis is the sources are credible and it's a genuine UFO. The General in charge of the Persian Air Force that was on duty the night of the UFO has stated unequivocally, an alien spaceship is the only thing that could account for the incident.

Rendlesham Forest.

http://www.ufoevidence.org/topics/RendleshamForest.htm

Numerous eye witnesses to a triangular metallic UFO landing in the forest, lifting off the ground, hovering through the trees, and shooting off into space. One of the security officers has drawings of the inscriptions on the side. The next night, more people, including the base LT COL, saw formations of lights shining pencil thin beams down to the ground over the nuclear weapons storage area.

There are several documented cases of UFOs disturbing nuclear missile silos. Look up the UFO over Malmstrom AFB in March of 1967. A red glowing UFO was spotted by several US Air Force security guards flying in the restricted area above the silos. Simultaneously all 10 missiles went into a "no go" condition. The UFO left and the missiles came back online later. An investigation revealed no explanation for the missiles shutting down. There was an incident in the Ukraine in 1983 in which missiles armed themselves automatically (without the launch codes!) and began a count down sequence to launch at the same time a triangular UFO hovered over the military installation.

Don't listen to the mainstream networks for information on UFOs. Read the books and make your own decision. After researching this topic for several years, I have no doubt a small minority of UFO sighting are actual extraterrestrial "space ships".

It's a hard thing for many to grasp, but it's the truth.

"The UFO phenomenon being reported is something real and not visionary or fictitious"
--General Nathan Twining Chairman, Joint chiefs of staff, 1955-1958

"In my mind, there is no question that they're out there. My Career is well established. My texts books are required reading in all the major capitals on planet earth. If you want to become a physist to learn about the unified feild therory-you read my books. Therefore, I'm in a position to say: Yes- Most likely they're out their, perhaps even visted, perhaps on our moon. -
-- Professor Michio Kaku Author of Theoretical Physics UNY

"Of course it is possible that UFO's really do contain aliens as many people believe, and the Government is hushing it up."
--Professor Stephen Hawking

"It is my thesis that flying saucers are real and that they are space ships from another solar system. There is no doubt in my mind that these objects are interplanetary craft of some sort. I and my colleagues are confident that they do not originate in our solar system."
--Dr. Herman Oberth (The father of modern rockerty)

"I am completely convinced that UFOs have an out-of-world basis."
--Dr. Walther Riedel (Once chief designer and research director at the German rocket center in Peenemunde)

"The evidence is overwhelming that Planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft. In other words, SOME UFOs are alien spacecraft. Most are not. It's clear from the Opinion Polls and my own experience, that indeed most people accept the notion that SOME UFOs are alien spacecraft. The greater the education, the MORE likely to accept this proposition"
-- Stanton Friedman Defense Contractor Nuclear Physicist

"Extraterrestrial contact is a real phenomenon. The Vatican is receiving much information about extraterrestrials and their contacts with humans from its Nuncios (embassies) in various countries, such as Mexico, Chile and Venezuela."
-- Monsignor Corrado Balducci As stated 5 different times on Italian TV** (Vatican theologian insider close to the Pope,Monsignor Balducci said that he is on a Vatican commission looking into extraterrestrial encounters, and how to cope with the emerging general realization of extraterrestrial contact.)

"I am convinced that these ojects do exist and that they are not manufactured by any nations on earth"
--Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding (Commander-in-chief, Royal Air Force Fighter Command) (3) An outpouring of UFO reports which forces response in high places, particularly when unknowns virtually blitzed the U.S. capitol in Washington, D.C. An Air Force intelligence analysis also concluded that UFOs were interplanetary spaceships. (1952)

"I certainly believe in aliens in space, and that they are indeed visiting our planet. They may not look like us, but I have very strong feelings that they have advanced beyond our mental capabilities."
--Senator Barry Goldwater (1965)
(Retired Air Force Brigadier General and pilot with many decades of flying experience)

"I'm not at liberty to discuss the governments knowledge of extraterrestrial UFO's at this time. I am still personally being briefed on the subject!"
--President Richard M. Nixon

"The phenomenon of UFOs does exist, and it must be treated seriously."
--Mikhail Gorbachev

I am not going to dog on Kucinich, it may have been some plane or helicopter he just didn't recognise, but Carl Sagan said it best: Either Earth is the only one planet out of billions of stars and their systems that has intelligent life or it is not, and both prospects are equally frightening.... Ronald Reagan said he saw a UFO when he was Governor of California, too. I would not be totally uncomfortable with a person in public office being open to the possibilities of something else being out there, even though for public hysteria reasons most wouldn't say.

For people who believe that the US Military found WMD in Iraq; I have a few questions:

1. Why does George W. Bush not proudly proclaim their existence?

2. How are old were the WMD? Maybe pre-"Gulf War One" which would explain why Hussein didn't use them in 1991.

3. Were any stamped "Made in USA"?

Posted by: fvee | October 31, 2007 4:53 PM | Report abuse

There WERE WMD's in Iraq. In the book "Saddam's Secrets" by General Georges Sada, who was one of Saddam's right hand generals, he states (pages 249 to 261) quite clearly that there were WMD's, what WMD's Saddam had, what unique opportunity arose for him to get rid of them in 2002/3, how they were dispersed, to where, who was involved and where they are now. The latter should be of great concern. I WISH YOU AMERICANS WOULD READ THIS BOOK!
Furthermore, the book shows that many of the top news bureaux were on Saddam's payroll to show him in a good light and when he was captured their incomes diminished greatly. I'll leave it to the readers to guess who they would be!

It is a shame that we have lost control of the English language. Because we needed a euphemism, years ago, to say "Space ship", "flying saucer" or "alien spacecraft", we started using the more delicate term "UFO" or phrase "Unidentified Flying Object".

However, if someone looks up and sees something flying in the sky that he can not identify, then it is a unidentified flying object, not a "Space ship" or "flying saucer" or "alien spacecraft", just an object that is not identified at that time.

Yes, I have seen many objects flying across the sky that I was unable to identify, but I do not think any of them were alien spacecraft, just objects that defied identification from my vantage point.

Anybody who thinks that "Unidentified Flying Object" means "alien spacecraft", I would venture to say is playing with the English language and putting meaning where meaning does not exist.

CharlesAMiller: Thank you for injecting a stock-standard right-wing talking point (WMD components found in Iraq!) into a discussion about Dennis Kucinich...FACT: A 1500-page Iraq Survey Group report presented by the CIA to Congress in October 2004 states categorically that Iraq's WMD program was essentially destroyed in 1991 and Saddam ended Iraq's nuclear program after the 1991 Gulf War. This is not some liberal or "New Age" ruse, but the Bush administration's own inspectors. FACT: Directly from the report: "While a small number of old, abandoned chemical munitions have been discovered, ISG judges that Iraq unilaterally destroyed its undeclared chemical weapons stockpile in 1991. There are no credible Indications that Baghdad resumed production of chemical munitions thereafter."

And I'm still laughing at libs/ 9/11 truthers who believe that GWB is an idiot, yet he can create the 9/11 scenario, but didn't think to plant WMD's in Iraq to support the war. Too stupid for words. Some of the folks in the latter part of the 19th century, including some who were very extensively educated, swore that it was impossible for man to fly in a heavier than air craft and ridiculed anyone who thought differently. The same could be said for a number of other examples where scientists of the time (to say nothing of the lesser-educated, 'common' folk) were absolutely SURE that what they believed about the universe was TRUE.

If we knew all there is to know about physics and had an accurate accounting of all forces in our ken, we might be able to pooh pooh interstellar travel as being impossible or impractical in the extreme. But with all the gaping holes in our understanding, to say that interstellar or intergalactic distances are impossible to overcome is the heighth of ignorant folly. In fact, it is well within imagination that distortion of space/time by some method (that is presently unknown to us) could make such distances irrelevant.

Don't be like those 19th century folks who seem so ridiculous to us now. Open your minds to possibilities.

With the distances involved in space travel, I cannot seriously imagine life from outer space coming to earth. However, I have built over 650 aircraft, any one of which would be considered an Unidentified Flying Object by the average person. You can see a few of these at hyperblimp.com.

**REPUBLICAN** Arizona Governor Fyfe Symington stated on CNN that the object sighted by millions of people over Phoenix in 1997 was an 'ALIEN SPACECRAFT'. WAKE UP.

Kucinich's spin room has clarified his UFO statement. What he meant to say is, "I came in on a UFO." Look at those ears. He is not from this planet, perhaps not even from this galaxy. There was speculation that he is a Vulcan. That idea has been proven false since his intelligence has been measured at closer to mushroom. Scientists are still investigating his origin. Standby earthlings for the results of these studies.

Yeah, GCooper says he saw a UFO. He was also the very last of the "Magnificent 7" original astronauts into space. Remember, they were primarily test pilots, a class of humanoids known for LACK of judgement. With the way the seven were built up in the press they all HAD to get their flight. Maybe a sex change could have stopped it, but I kinda doubt it. If you saw the movie "The Right Stuff" one very true part is that they were not actually intended to do anything but be glorified chimps who would sit in the capsule and survive the flight. A huge publicity campaign got them a window and a stick, but originally they were thought of much like Ham, our first astronaut/chimp.

I never heard of any Marine that would claim he is in the Army.

Why should one assume Dennis Kucinich is nuts just because he thinks he saw a UFO, when there are so many other good reasons to think he's nuts?

Posted by: p3orion | October 31, 2007 11:04 AM | Report abuse

Who cares if he saw a UFO? I think the bigger question is what was he doing at Shirley's house? Getting channeled? Maybe a palm reading? Who voted this guy into office?

Posted by: larry.chartier | October 31, 2007 11:00 AM | Report abuse

I saw a UFO too. And Kucinich's face was looking out the window at me.

Posted by: foutsc | October 31, 2007 10:59 AM | Report abuse

You guys are ridiculous. Seeing a UFO doesn't mean seeing a space ship. It could be a lot of things.

Airplane pilots and astronauts report seeing strange things all the time -- it doesn't mean they think the movie Independence Day is non-fiction.

So what's the big deal?

Posted by: jblosveren | October 31, 2007 10:18 AM | Report abuse

Hate to burst YOUR bubble, CharlesAMiller, but the Pentagon said the weapons they found in Iraq were very old and degraded, and posed no danger whatsoever to the United States.

Posted by: jasreilly | October 31, 2007 10:11 AM | Report abuse

Wow! What an astounding amount of ignorance (or willful delusion) is displayed by the commentors who say that very few have seen ufo's! Try talking to your local law enforcement members. Try talking to just about any airline pilot or longtime military pilot. New reports pour in every day, but go to the The Disclosure Project webpage and watch the video where dozens and dozens of very high ranking military and aviation industry personnel state categorically that they not only saw, but in some cases interacted with alien craft.

Shed your blinders and look at the evidence, not just what you WANT to believe.

Posted by: hwhitcomb | October 31, 2007 10:07 AM | Report abuse

Yeah, this is so ridiculous. Tons of people have seen UFOs which, by their nature, are unidentified. He doesn't know what it was. Big deal. But that reporters and much of the media rush to ridicule him ... someone whose views mesh with the public's more than any other candidate ... seems to suggest a willingness to justify his casual dismissal. Covering it as a oh-so-humorous blog item is the least challenging and enabling way to fill space.

Posted by: cjdan | October 31, 2007 10:06 AM | Report abuse

Kucinich is more nuts than the rest of that crowd, however most people have seen UFOs and that is not unusual. There is no way that we can identify everything we see in the sky especially at night therefore we have seen UFOs. I think what Kucincch is seeing is probably the result of the cheap drugs he has been taking all his life as you can't get your brain fried like he has any other way.

Posted by: BigArch1 | October 31, 2007 9:56 AM | Report abuse

One thing all the candidates except Hillary shared, is an otherworldly utopianism. Perhaps they've all been in contact with ET's who believe that human nature can be transformed and aggression and war eliminated forever.

THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE MEDIA!!!

While I'm no Kucinich supporter (and I, unfortunately, live in his district), I know plenty of people that have seen weird things in the air... including myself.

BUT THE STUPID MEDIA, rather than clarifying that he saw an UNIDENTIFIABLE object, tries to make a mountain out of this molehill by screaming "ALIENS"!

Is it any wonder that fewer and fewer people watch the so-called "news" anymore?

Posted by: otherrandomstuff | October 31, 2007 9:39 AM | Report abuse

Should I be surprised that this is your ONLY mention of Kucinich thus far?

Posted by: riff_raff17 | October 31, 2007 9:34 AM | Report abuse

Ok, Kucinich is nuts. Is this news?

One supposes he was reaching out to the DOZEN or so people who claim to have seen UFOS or have experienced aliens, so maybe his number of supporters has tripled today, who knows?

Richardson also torpedoed his campaign saying the government hasn't "come clean" on the Roswell incident. So much for his vast foreign policy experience being highlighted. The entire debate of these tax-and-spend leftists was worth watching only to see Chris Matthew's eyes grow as wide as saucers when Richardson uttered that whopper.

Hey Sunset- Why do you belittle the truth by calling it a right-wing talking point? Facts are facts- Fact: I am in the Army and in IRAQ for the next year. Fact: My unit has found stock piles of 120mm mortar rounds, artillery rounds and rockets with nerve agent. Fact: we took pictures of them. Fact: They would take a toll if used therefore a WMD. Your report cited is from 2004 and we are still finding them to this day. I bet we continue to find them.- MAXXUSMC

A: "Run for congress, and help Nancy Pelosi screw up the United States so we can rule"
K: "Ok, ET"

With all due respect to the deluded few claiming to see a UFO (astronauts included) these are the same people who think that Jimmy Carter is smarter than his nutty brother Billy. It is similar to those who have claimed to see the Virgin Mary in a stick of butter or in a cloud formation(funny how she only appears to Catholics).

lapciuc, where do YOU get your information. It is a well known fact that astronauts Gordon Cooper and Edgar Mitchell have been very public about having seen UFO's. I spoke to Edgar Mitchell personally on three occasions and he is vehement that astronauts see UFO on nearly every mission to space. I suggest you lookup the CSETI project and check the list of government and military witnesses that have sworn out statements as to their knowledge other worldly craft.

@CharlesAMiller: Thank you for injecting a stock-standard right-wing talking point (WMD components found in Iraq!) into a discussion about Dennis Kucinich...FACT: A 1500-page Iraq Survey Group report presented by the CIA to Congress in October 2004 states categorically that Iraq's WMD program was essentially destroyed in 1991 and Saddam ended Iraq's nuclear program after the 1991 Gulf War.

Reagan saw multiple UFOs, Carter only saw one (loser), and Kucinich saw a really great one -- black triangles are the rarest, strangest UFOs.

Nobody believes in "God" except maybe for a few people with mental problems, or very primitive tribes who probably believe a cell phone is a God Robot.

My party, the Republicans, have always been against religions and gods, especially the Jesus religion which was made up by Italians.

lapciuc, as superyeadon notes, Gordon Cooper (one of America's seven original astronauts), did claim to have seen ufos -- and filmed them. See his autobiography, Leap of Faith. Also, Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell is a firm believer that ufos are visiting our planet.

Hate to burst your New Age bubble, dmduncan, but Coalition forces in Iraq have recovered some 700 components of WMD since the war's beginning in 2003, including missile-delivered nerve agents, mustard gas, et cetera. To date, there is NO physical evidence that UFOs originate anywhere except in the mind of the observer.

There's more evidence that some UFOs have an extraterrestrial origin than that Saddam Hussein had WMDs. There's a lot worse things you can believe in than UFOs, and there's lots of gravestones to prove it. I'm no fan of Kucinich, but I'm not going to call him nuts for that. www.keyhoereport.com/

Well if Dennis saw a UFO he's in good company with dozens of astronauts, pilots-military and commercial, enlisted men, professionals of every ilk and even a couple Presidents. I think more people believe in UFOs as ETs than they do God. In a world torn by violence and war there certainly is more evidence of ETs than there is of a God. Not to mention the tens of thousands of FOA files and those from other countries that clearly identify the "unidentified" as mechanical, technical, and beyond our technology. Good Night.

You completely missed that one Chris. Perhaps you didn't get Obama's response for what it was. I don't know how "Obama didn't take the bait." I'm not sure what the bait was setting him up to do that he missed, to attack Kucinich? Why would he pathetically beat up on the little guy for? I don't have to say that'd be a worthless strategy, but the point remains. Bait to do what?

What Obama did do, that you must have missed, is shell out a good spontaneous moment debate line, to me almost reminiscent of Reagan's "I'm paying for this microphone!" He said that he didn't know if there was life elsewhere, but said "what I do know is that there is life here, life that is not being attended to." YOU SEE CHRIS? IT WAS A GOOD DEBATE LINE, SOMETHING OBAMA HASN'T EVER SHELLED OUT. IT WAS GOOD NOT JUST FOR OBAMA, BUT JUST GOOD, PERIOD.

CANDIDATES LIKE MIKE HUCKABEE AND MAYBE EVEN JOE BIDEN REGULARLY PERFORM WELL IN DEBATES AS OBAMA HAS THIS TIME, BUT WERE UNABLE TO CAPATALIZE ON IT DUE TO ORGANIZATIONAL DISADVANTAGES AND LACK OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES. BUT OBAMA HAS THE MONEY TO CAPATALIZE. OBAMA'S LINE PLAYS WELL ON TV NEWS, AND SHOULD GET BUZZ IN THE COMING DAYS. YOU FAILED TO RECOGNIZE OBAMA'S SPONTANEOUS DEBATE MOMENT. WAS IT ACCIDENTAL?

DISCLAIMERS: Obama 08! and, I am a proud Drexel grad tonight.

This electorate has A.D.D. and really needs to go on a media diet (sorry, WP). Sad, but most of what will live on the web tomorrow morning about the debates will likely include the UFO thing, Biden's "noun, verb, 911" zinger, and likely not fully elaborate on the Social Security, illegal alien ID, tax code, or education issues. The 'debate' will likely headline along with Britney Spears.

Maybe CC got it right...
"The big news tonight: DENNIS KUCINICH HAS SEEN A UFO."

PS: The state of the Supreme Court a.k.a. "The 5-4 Club" is NEVER made into an issue, yet so many primary topics in this race so far will actually end up before the bench.

Thanks CC
