Who Won The Week?
If it's Friday, it's time for "Who Won the Week," our weekly (that's sort of obvious) contest in which you, the Fix community, get the opportunity to choose whether John McCain or Barack Obama emerged victorious over the past seven days.
In order to help you make your decision, we offer this quick primer on the week that was.
* "I wanna cut his [manhood] off."
-- Rev. Jesse Jackson on Obama
* "You've heard of mental depression; this is a mental recession."
-- former Texas senator and McCain supporter Phil Gramm
Done and done.
Offer your submissions for who won the week in the comments section below. Remember, we are looking for creative and brief (a paragraph or two) submissions. The deadline for participation is noon on Sunday. Any submissions after that time will not count. Nor will any submissions made via email.
The winners (or winners) will be announced during the FixCam Week in Preview" on Monday.
Go to it!
