Daniels not backing off social 'truce' comments
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) isn't backing down from his suggestion that Republicans declare a "truce" on social issues. In a new interview, he expands on the idea that there are more pressing concerns right now and declines to throw a bone to social conservatives who have expressed concern about whether he is on their side.
