The Supreme Court convenes for its 2011 session tomorrow and when it does Justice Clarence Thomas will continue an amazing streak of silence.

According to as recent New York Times story, Thomas hasn't said a single word in the Court's public arguments in more than five years -- a record of reticence that has no match in the annals of Supreme Court history.
