Fast Fix: Alaska's Spelling Bee
New polling in the Alaska Senate race suggests that Sen. Lisa Murkowski's write-in candidacy against Republican Joe Miller and Democrat Scott McAdams has a chance of succeeding.
If Murkowski, who lost an Aug. 24 Republican primary to Miller, manages to win she will be the first Senator elected as a write-in candidate since 1954 when Strom Thurmond(!) won.
