Fast Fix: Do big political rallies really matter?
From in August to the "One Nation" gathering over the weekend and even the planned Steven Colbert/Jon Stewart-palooza set for the end of the month, large-scale political rallies are all the rage.
But, while conservatives and liberals debate about which side had the bigger rally, a more important question is being ignored: Do these gatherings really move the political needle at all?
