Slow-Hand Fix

Eric Claton's slow-hand style is a metaphor for the Fix's slow posting schedule over the next few days. Photo by Gaye Gerard/Getty Images
The arrival of Fixmom (aka Charlie's grandmother) coupled with a few other long term Fix schemes -- planning for the unveiling of our political Hall of Fame, work on our super-secret project with Dana "D$" Milbank, and early rumblings of a Fix book (!) -- means a bit slower posting schedule for the remainder of this week.
We'll still have an (abbreviated) Cheat Sheet tomorrow and, of course, the Line, which will be our maiden look at the most competitive House races in the country.
But, things will be slower in this space until Monday. Thanks, as always, for your support of the Fix.

Never thought I'd write this, but I'm with scrivener on this one ... you know you can't quit us.
Can't wait for the House Line. Sad, I know.

Much nicer over here. The pelosi thread has contracted rabies.

Cillizza is probably ghost writing the new Palin book - she just inked the deal on.

Saw the Derek and the Dominoes tour, front row, four feet from Clapton. He acted like a jerk

We have heard this line before.
And then, news breaks -- and there you are.
That's what we like about CC.
And what about Ed O'Keefe? Let him strap on the axe and break out some riffs...

Milbank will soon launch "My Favorite Milbanks."
Meanwhile, Chris, just post all the Clapton you can find, and we'll get over your absence.

Mr. Cillizza
Hope you have a good time with your family, and I'm looking forward to this book of yours!
But can you give your copy editor or proofreader a gentle poke for me? Someone left out a "P" in the photo caption. Just some friendly audience proofreading for ya.
Hoya saxa!

I echo bsimon - enjoy your mom with her grandkids. She will have so much fun with them you will wonder where she was when you were a kid. But that is our prerogative - those of us who are grandparents. We have all the fun.
We will miss you, if you actually take the time, but we will not begrudge you the experience.
