Nancy Pelosi vs John Boehner: Whose speech was better?

By Chris Cillizza

It's official: Ohio Rep. John Boehner (R) is the new Speaker of the House. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) is the minority leader.

Both Boehner and Pelosi delivered speeches to the packed House -- heyooo! -- earlier today. Boehner's was intentionally brief and humble, noting that it was the "peoples' House" and promising to work with Democrats whenever possible. (The Post's Ezra Klein gave Boehner kudos for the address.)

Pelosi's speech, on the other hand, amounted to a celebration of the last Congress, touting the accomplishments made by the Democratic-controlled body.

But, whose speech was better? Watch both below, then vote!

PELOSI
