John Sununu endorses Reince Priebus for RNC Chair

By Chris Cillizza

New Hampshire Republican party chairman John Sununu will endorse Reince Priebus for Republican National Committee Chairman today, providing a potentially critical last minute boost for the frontrunner heading into tomorrow's vote.

"I will be supporting Reince Priebus," said Sununu. "He can and will begin the process of developing and putting in place the programs that will ultimately lead to our success during the next two years."

Sununu, a former New Hampshire governor and chief of staff to then President George H.W. Bush, is a major player on the RNC with considerable influence.

Priebus now has 41 public comments, by far the most of any of the five candidates who will compete for the job tomorrow.

Make sure to check out our handicapping of the race and tune in for our liveblogging of the proceedings tomorrow!
