It might be nice if you gave a detailed pro and con of each candidate in MA once the race solidifies a bit more; rather like you did with the Fix Hall of Fame candidates.

Love the way that Navy seals took out the wanted terrorist in Somalia, under the direction of POTUS, Barack Obama..Don't you love the way Democrats protect the security of the nation..Find the target, take them out and no civilian casualties..That is the way Barack Obama is gonna take out OBL..OBL must be quivering in his cave..instead of the bluster of W and co, he now faces a President who knows how to get things done..

Snowbama...check out MA. It's in the top five states for just about every positive attribute: wealth, income, productivity, entrepreneurship, health, education, etc.

It's also in the bottom five for every negative attribute: poverty, childhood mortality, crime, murder, teen pregnancy, abortion, divorce. So yeah, I think it's fair to say that catching up to Massachusetts is a great goal for the rest of the country.

As far as taxes go, last time I checked we were in the top quartile...meaning we pay less in taxes than most states do, we produce more, we earn more and we live better lives. Now if we could only do something about the seven months of winter.

Not a lot of traffic on the blog about "who will be the next far left liberal from Massachussetts". like it matters. the state is the poster child for tax and spend and fail.

Hey, I got a great liberal idea. Let's extend that certain failure to the entire country. that'll show em.

I guess one advantage to a special election is the shortened schedule. He can take a leave of absense for 12 weeks and be back to work on Dec. 9th.

I don't know why he bothered. He has absolutely no name recognition, and far less experience than the other Democratic candidates. I might vote for someone like Khazei for a local office, or even for the House, but definitely not for the Senate.
