Twittering Gibbs

The Fix is taking it slow to spend some quality time with Charlie Cillizza but our fingers are getting itchy from not typing so we decided to twitter today's White House press briefing from the official Fix couch.

The festivities get under way at 2:30 p.m. (Assuming the pending announcement in the Chandra Levy case doesn't blot out the sun in the world of cable news, in which case we will not be twittering the presser today.)

You can check out the last ten tweets (or so) below or you can follow all the action at "TheHyperFix" -- our live twittering medium. (Want more leisurely tweets? Check out "TheFix".)

    Would Limbaugh have support the banning of hanging and lynchings of African Americans back in the 40's-60's

    Would Limbaugh have supported School integration back in the 60'-70's?

    Would Limbaugh have support a womans right to vote back in the 60-70's ?

    If you don't know when women got the vote how could you be expected to know what Rush Limbaugh thinks?

    Should'nt we be focused on our economy and not have our attention redirected to Rush Limbaugh.

    so lets see here obama is doing the opposite of what reagen did to fix an even worse economic crisis than this hmmmmmmm......it seems to me if someone shows you how to fix something and you do the exact opposite then you will make it worse,ive said it before ,all that money,all that education, about as much common sense as a rock.Liberal democrats have done more to screw up everthing thing country stands for than i care to think about Rush is a great american that is standing up against an ideology that wants to destroy and reshape this country into some handout nation that bends over backwards to illegals ,queers,crimials,dogs catswhalessealsdeadbeatsectectectectect while screwing over the traditional americans . anyway after your community organizer gets done running this country into the ground we can look forward to a republican to fix it, you know the kind of poeple that supports soldiers,dont hang with terrorist or crooks ,the kind of poeple that pay their taxes,stands by the flag not some newage logo you get the point

    Maybe you lost readers because twittering does not convey intelligent thoughts, which is what readers of this blog have come to expect. Please do not join the silly bandwagon.

    A GAGGLE OF JINOS?...

    The question about the proposed Leahy "truth" commission desperately called for a strong follow-up -- especially in light of the "shredding the Constitution memos" released yesterday.

    Wasn't this the constitutional law President? Doesn't "looking forward" guarantee the repetition of the sins of the past, if there is no demand for accountability?

    The question isn't about the White House opinion on a truth commission; the question is why the Obama administration is continuing Bush policies on state secrets, rendition, and DOMESTIC TORTURE via the Bush-approved covert use" of silent, illness-inducing microwave radiation weapons on "targeted" U.S. citizens.

    Where's Sam Stein? Or Sam Donaldson, even?

    What a sad state of affairs.

    Suggestion to the press secretary:

    Repeat the following phrase early and often when you hear the same old song:

    "Asked and answered."

    ***

    TEAM OBAMA: WHAT DO BUSH HOLD-OVERS KNOW ABOUT THIS:

    • Silent, covert microwave radiation weapons assaults on innocent but "targeted" U.S. citizens;

    • Terroristic vigilante community gang stalking, surreptitious home entry, police-tolerated vandalism;

    • Secret federal "programs of personal financial destruction."

    IT IS DAY 43 OF THE OBAMA PRESIDENCY. WHEN WILL THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT STOP THE 'SILENT SOCIAL GENOCIDE'?

    Please, one of you scribes...

    ...ask whether the Justice Department internal investigation of Bush torture memos is looking at charges of torture of U.S. citizens "targeted" but not charged with any wrongdoing...

    ...and whether the White House going to reverse a Bush policy that okayed the "use" of microwave radiation weapons on U.S. citizen "targets."
