The fact that not all Republicans are racist (much less the claim that one jaked would vote for a Democrat) hardly refutes the fact that the Republican Party is becoming more and more closely associated with a strain of white xenophobia that often exhibits as racism, and which increasingly displays violent tendencies -- which are stoked by its leaders and media outlets.

"To equate the rest of the doubters with the murderer is a classic example of bigotry . . . i.e. - I know a black criminal, thus all blacks are criminal suspects."

A person is born black. A person chooses to hold an irrational and essentially racist opinion. The two cases differ significantly.

If I think all white people are racists, I am a bigot. If I think all white supremacists are potentially dangerous, I am merely rational.

Millions of people doubt Obama's legitimacy to be President. One of them was a murderer. To equate the rest of the doubters with the murderer is a classic example of bigotry. Equating traits of an individual to traits of a group might even serve as a definition of a logical fallacy as well as prejudicial thinking.

i.e. - I know a black criminal, thus all blacks are criminal suspects.

Somehow, you know its coming. That OMG moment is just around the corner. You can feel the inescapable reality creeping up on you. Something will leak. Someone will spill the beans.

“For nothing is hid that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light.”
Luke 8:17

Should you choose not to post this it will still be posted somewhere. Bigotry needs to be exposed wherever it occurs, not just when it suits your political agenda.

I'm not the one who thinks that every Republican is a "racist". In fact, I personally know several Democrats who I would vote for President.

This is an email I got from the largest rightiwng website, spreading more hatred, inciting more violence. How many will have to die beforfe someone stops them?

"Off topic, but TPM documents that James W. von Brunn, who killed the guard at the Holocaust Museum yesterday, shares jaked's fascination with Obama's birth certificate, when he wasn't ranting about world-wide jewish conspiracies and black people."

Yeah, the birth certificate thing is incredibly racist. I mean, hell, John McCain wasn't even born in the US. I've never seen anyone ask for his birth certificate.

The perils of extreme leftism. the market speaks but shouldn;t the reevaluation have been more like a 95% pay cut? Cc watch out.

""The New York Times Co., while furiously slashing costs at the Boston Globe, has hired an investment bank to shop the paper around, the Globe disclosed yesterday.

The report, which came after the company cut the pay of Globe journalists by 23 percent, said the information came from two people interested in making a bid for New England's largest newspaper. But whether a serious buyer emerges for the money-losing daily is an open question. ""

NEW YORK - U.S. foreclosure activity for May ebbed from April's record, but mortgages still failed at a staggering pace as President Barack Obama's rescue programs had not had time to fully take root, RealtyTrac said on Thursday. (Snip) Temporary freezes on foreclosure activity ended in March. Failures of many seriously delinquent loans that were put on hold during those moratoria have been thrust back into the foreclosure cycle.

the result of Barney Frank running the housing industry. Just wait to see what he can do for the auto and health care parts.

Observe the head and heart of the Libs:

ON Monday night, famed American TV host Dave Letterman told a rape joke about a little girl. Not just any little girl, of course, because that would be wrong. No, his joke on national television was about the daughter of Sarah Palin,(Snip) a Republican. Which, to many of the Left, apparently made it right.(Snip) They'd lynch him for if he told it about, say, one of Barack Obama's daughters instead.
