I really thought John McCain was a good President Candidate until he started stealing Barack Obama's ideals. But, when Obama countered, causing McCain to say... "Our economy is sound". The was the work of a master at his best.

Now he tries the (same tired) old apology tour in Arabia Must be a muslim thing. Hussain rocks! Posted by: king_of_zouk

if zouk had ever, even once posted anything rational, reasonable, or intelligent, we would all fall off our chairs.

Since we read these comments from the bottom up, unlike White House Watch, I just hit PgUp when I see a zouk post, so should you. It's not like you're going to miss anything just his infantile wordplay on peoples' names and monikers. Obimbo, chrisuxit, this is infantile stuff.

So if he did ever post anything less than idiotic, nobody would fall out of chairs because nobody would read it.

Should Obama have asserted leadership by calling an end to Israeli occupation within the 1967 borders?

It is lonely being a loony lib moonbat. Perhaps you are the last remaining creature that responds to it. Even the dog stays in the yard most of the day. It is no fun to be yelled out all day for the perceived humiliations feted on them by bush and the evil empire.

clearly you can't respond to anything rational, reasonable or intelligent. how could you?

Yes, terrorists still attack Israel, but not massive Arab armies.

>>>>>>>>>>.

Perhaps because they lost every single time.

Carter's energy policy - start a giant bureaucracy and put on a cardigan. turn off the Xmas lights and pray for no maliase. 30 years later the DoE has bills but no results. Typical Lib venture. Spend more, get less. sounds like the Lib war policy, energy policy, education policy.......

It DOES sound like Obimbo - inflate tires, ruin economy, provide nukes to Iran so their oil flows here.

bsimon: you're right, of course.

Israel has variously refused or ignored a succession of US presidents, none of whom were willing to face down the Israeli lobby. I hope Obama doesn't blink.

Israel is faithless and untrustworthy, too full of itself and not really willing to take on the far-right settler movement, loaded with heavily armed and reflexively violent nutbars with many potential assassins among them, a potential Baruck Goldstein in every family. Reabsorbing them will be like a Maurolito Boatlift squared and cubed, with moderate Israeli politicians gunned down in the streets.

But that's their problem.

Can you give me any hints on how to get "chrisfox8" to stop responding to me?

there is no controlling legal authority.

"Obama isn't the first president to tell Israel to cease building settlements on Palestinian land. But he is the first since Carter."

Not exactly. According to Ignatius this AM, Johnson, Nixon & Carter all called the settlements illegal. Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush have told Israel to cease settlement, but have not called them illegal.

“The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. This construction violates previous agreements and undermines efforts to achieve peace. It is time for these settlements to stop.”
-- President Obama in Cairo

I just love it. Come on, Mr. President, give them a deadline. Make them absorb those nutjobs into their society.

You might put some more work into your lying, Jake; it's so easy to catch you at it and it's fun to expose you.

Next time you plagiarize someone else's writing to create an impression of being able to debate, make sure to change a few words so it's a little harder to find the original. Not that anyone here would ever believe you can post anything but birth certificate and HUSSEIN crap.

And next time you make a claim about something like serving in Korea, make sure it jibes with your other lies. You would have had to enlist at age 13 or 14 to be in Korea, and we both know that didn't happen.

On the Laker-Magic games tonight, it will be interesting to see if they are able to use Jameer Nelson.

Posted by: JakeD | June 4, 2009 12:10 PM | Report abuse

I know. But sometimes he's just so cute, I can't resist!

Zouky:

Carter helped bring Egypt, Israel, and Jordan together. A peace that has lasted.

Yes, terrorists still attack Israel, but not massive Arab armies.

Carter was also 30 years ahead of his time on alternative energy.

Wasn't it your matinee idol Ronald Reagan who mockingly removed the solar panels from the White House roof?

I keep recalling that Obimbo was off to Europe to get all sorts of financial concessions and even to charm them into sending more troops to NATO efforts. He came home empty handed and the press never explained.

Now he tries the same tired old apology tour in Arabia and the net effect will be the same. Still no mention of this fruitless blather. In fact, the cave dwelling Osama sends Obama his regards on this particular day. Must be a muslim thing. Hussain rocks!

when he finally gets to Indonesia to give another long boring speech, who wants to bet he claims he is a citizen there and shares a lot with them?

so Libs want a very strict leash on our best friends, but our enemies can do whatever they like - shoot missiles, build bombs, kill civilians, etc. no problem Mon.

I thought everyone understood the Carter years were a total failure and that none of his policies should ever be repeated. I guess the short attention span of most Libs combined with the sub-standard intelligence leads to this repeat of failure.

Posted by: king_of_zouk | June 4, 2009 11:46 AM | Report abuse

Obama isn't the first president to tell Israel to cease building settlements on Palestinian land. But he is the first since Carter. As anyone watching the automaker bailouts knows, when Obama makes a deadline he means it. Hoping he delivers an ultimatum to Israel with a deadline attached, and then we will be ready to rock. If they go on moving people onto settlements, or if the existing ones are expanded to make room for more people, let a certain aid check be withheld, and rocket launchers too.

Gee, Zouky:

Historically, your only barometer of presidential success was the DJIA.

Are you expanding your horizons?

Posted by: Bondosan | June 4, 2009 11:31 AM | Report abuse

No progress on the home front, in fact, still tanking. time for another long. boring teleprompter event in a foreign country whereby Obambi blames America and its allies for all the ills in the world.
