Who had the "Worst Year in Washington"?
It's been a wild and wonderful year in political Washington.
We've seen fortunes rise (hello Marco Rubio!) and, more deliciously, fall.
Over these last months, we've picked winners for the "Worst Week in Washington" -- that person, place (or thing) that had the absolute worst last seven days in the nation's capitol.
With college football's bowl season upon us, we thought we should tackle -- ahem -- the granddaddy of them all: the Worst Year in Washington.
Our past winners are below. You can vote on which of them deserves the "honor" of winning the Worst Year in Washington or nominate someone who hasn't been chosen for "Worst Week" in the comments section below.
We'll reveal the winner in the Post's "Outlook" section in two Sundays time. Happy voting!
