With the world situation the way it is today, it probably won't take more than a few years for Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace to return to the Mt. of Olives and clean up the whole mess for those who believe.

The dove withh the olive branch, nice touch.

My my, Mr. Hayward is wayward, perhaps his yacht can be used to help with the clean up, moving him to another position is meaningless.

This administration continues to push blame and distance themselves as told through a "lackluster" speech as quoted from other news sources. Obama doesn't care to get himself involved in anything-- not even the 'wave' at the baseball game.

We "small people" watch as the rich people sit in their high places in their protective bubbles still enjoying the finer things in life. Change?

Conservative Dads equal smarter and richer kids in mind, body, home and spirituality.

Tom it must be rough for you to watch the inhabitants on this planet destroying one another day after day along with a whole lot of other life forms and have the job of illustrating it on a daily basis. If you had the overall knowledge about how all this is really being played out like I do. You would retire and enjoy your final years.

I would like to see Mr. Toles do a cartoon comparing President Obama apologizing for past actions of the prior adminstration that ticked off thw world to the apology by Mr. Barton, with sympathy by other repubs, to BP chairman Hayward. To the gop it's wrong for the President to apologize for a country's responsibilty for its action and also wrong for the President to demand a corp's responsibility for the disaster and deaths it caused.

Dear bertzel, the 1988 Hamas Charter calls for the replacement of Israel with a Islamic Palestinian State. The co-founder of Hamas, Mahmoud Al-Zahar says that there is no place for Israel on that land. Would you mind elaborating on your comments to me? Peace in the Mideast is not a game. The United Nations created Israel. Let's say that your neighbor came over and said to you that there is no room for you here. And they showed you a map where your house was no longer there. And to get the point across the neighbor started firing rockets into your yard. Oh, and when you went to the police they blamed you for the trouble. What would you do? And keep in mind that Israel is a sovereign Nation. Which produces goods and services for it's citizens and the world.

Mr. Lukovich was disgusting, but it tells me that if that is the best he can do - he has nothing. He might as wells sell Earth Shoes.

Accidents should not be taken advantage of for policy differences.

Spending and saving?

I hate to be smug, but I can give you a clue. Some spending pays off and some waste money. That is the distinction. There is good spending and we should do it. There is bad spending and it should be resisted.

You want to end the deficit? Easy. Just put everyone to work. It will be 1999 again.

Then we can have some cartoons showing how much we wil suffer with a budget surplus.

Just like 1999, of course.

I still hope for peace in the Middle East. Mr. Toles, on the other hand seems to be pessimistic about everything. He sees the economy going down, has no truck with space exploration and does not even like our energy choices. Perhaps he can show his good side in the future. If it pays as well, that is.

Since it's establishment in 1948 the State of Israel has had some group or Country want it removed from the map of the earth. Hamas is just the latest.
