The Friday Photo: Where's Nemo?

Merlin ID: 12181268

Happy Friday, which means, of course, that it's time for your big contribution to the Travel Log.

This week's spanking new Travel tote bag goes to Cindy Sherman of Lothian, Md., who took this picture on a recent trip. Why do we dig this one so? You ever use an underwater camera? Our pictures usually come out blurry and feature the same fish 28 times. This is just a cool shot, with a neat story. Let's let Cindy tell it:

"This photo was snapped of me by my husband Bart on a BVI barefoot cruise in January. It was our first time playing with an underwater camera so we snapped away. We were snorkeling the caves at Norman Island, and the water really was that blue! Lots of wind that time of year down there so we got to do a lot of sailing island to island. It was great for our first visit to the BVI."

We wish we were there now, Cindy.

Now it's your turn. Some guidelines:

1. Email ONE photo per week to us travel@washpost.com. Put "Friday Photo" in the subject field, and include your name, address and phone number.

2. Write a paragraph like the one above explaining what's going on in the picture, when you took it and why it's significant to you.

3. Photos should be from a recent trip, voyage, getaway . . whatever you want to call. But try to keep it within the last month or two or three.

4. Winners will receive a Travel section trinket (totebag, mousepad, etc.). Winning entries are subject to editing. Employees of The Post and their immediate families are not eligible. No purchase necessary.
