Where to Find Answers to Your Inauguration-Day Questions

With Washington, D.C., bracing for record crowds and chilly temperatures next Tuesday, some people might still be hammering out their Inauguration Day plans: Where to witness the swearing-in on the Mall, get a spot along the parade route or get to one of the numerous balls or other celebrations around town that weekend. Metro announced it's expanding the number of buses on certain routes downtown, while bridges from Virginia to D.C. will be closed to personal vehicles.
The Post's Inauguration Central has scads of stories, maps, photos and other useful tools to help you navigate the details of the inauguration and other events next weekend. Here are a couple of other helpful Web sites:
The official Presidential Inaugural Committee's Web site just launched a special section on logistics.
The D.C. government's site (great for parking and road closure info)
Metro's Inauguration page (with links to other area transit providers, maps and schedules)
Destination DC's Inauguration info page (with checklists and tips on dining, balls and more)
Anyone else found a trove of helpful Inauguration info?

Hi Talcott and inauguration-goers,
findingDulcinea has devoted an entire special section of its site to the inauguration, including feature articles on inauguration travel, ceremonies past and present, inauguration balls, and even hosting your own inauguration party.

Hope this helps!
