Severe Weather Shuts Down British Airports
Even London's famed Underground had problems in the snow. The biggest news for travelers? The snow has severely disrupted flights in and out of London airports, with many short-haul flights cancelled and some long-haul ones seriously delayed.
Our best advice? If your travel plans this week include London, keep abreast of developments and check your flight status often. And try to resist suggesting that the Brits "apply some flinty Chicago toughness."
