Idol Amazingly Doesn't Win

When "Amazing Race" executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer was asked whether he had any "soothing words" for the executive producers of "American Idol" -- which his show whomped again in the Emmy reality-series derby -- he said curtly: "I don't think they need to be soothed. It's the number one show on television. ...They've captivated America. ...Our hats off to them."
