"Kate Plus 8 Plus Sarah"?

"America's Two Most Polarizing Moms" television special -- coming soon, to TLC?

The Silver Spring-based cable network went into full "No Comment" mode yesterday in response to a media pile-on over a report Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin were going to meet up in one spectacular "Kate Plus 8" TV special being shot for the cable network.

Click on image to see gallery of worst relationship indiscretions.

It all started Wednesday when, which bills itself as a "celebrity gossip, news and paparazzi photos" Web site, snapped some photos of Kate and her brood at the Alaska zoo in Anchorage, which it posted on its site Thursday morning.

Other photos of Kate and kids at the a store in Anchorage also sprang up on the web, with captions noting Anchorage is spitting distance -- okay, 45 minutes -- from Wasilla, where Palin lives.

Thursday afternoon, celebrity suck-up mag In Touch Weekly posted a story on its Web site that Gosselin had packed her kids up and taken them to Alaska for a little made-for-TV camping, and a meet-up with Sarah Palin.

In one of those extraordinary coincidences that makes covering TV so thrilling, Palin is also at work on a series for TLC, called "Sarah Palin's Alaska." No debut date has been announced yet on that.

The first "Kate Plus 8" special debuted on TLC on June 6, with Kate celebrating the sextuplets's sixth birthday (Kate also had twins with former husband Jon). Another debuted on July 11, in which Kate's kids got chickens as pets, according to Washington Post TeamTV Gosselin family correspondent Emily Yahr.

TLC promised to serve up a handful of "Kate Plus 8" specials last fall, right around the time the network decided to cut bait on its "Jon and Kate Plus 8" series, after Jon Gosselin started raising a ruckus about his children working on TV.

That was right around the time Jon and Kate split up and TLC decided to continue working with the Gosselin family -- just not Jon.

The "Kate Plus 8" specials are not to be confused with Kate's new TLC series, called "Twist of Kate" in which she will give "life assistance" to "real families in the middle of their own extraordinary challenges."

The report on a possible Kate-Plus-Sarah special did not suggest Kate would be giving life assistance to Palin. It did, however, say Palin's father, a retired science teacher, will be giving a made-for-TV natural-history lesson to Kate's kids during the Alaska vacation - and that Sarah Palin would talk to Kate about how to avoid bear -- stretching credibility to the breaking point.

Again, to reiterate, TLC: "No Comment."

Sarah showed she can't raise her own three daughters as we see Bristol the teenage unwed mother and her recovering alcoholic drug problems. Example of a Mother who learns her daughter is engaged from a newspaper. Kate is likely to go back with her husband when the people shtop viewing the show. Sarah does need a job to earn a living as Todd doesn't work. It could air a show Kate/Sarah the two free loading bimbo Show for nuts.

TLC hasn't stood for The Learning Channel in years. It re-branded to "TLC" -- which is fine, cause there were moving away from straight 'education' into real life entertainment.

Second, I just think it's kind of funny how riled up about Palin people get. Look, I'm as happy as anyone she isn't president, but this show doesn't bother me at all. Why? Because I haven't seen it. People need to keep an open mind or a closed mouth. You can't have it both ways.

If she does something horrible on the show then fine let her have it, but as far as I'm concerned this seems pretty harmless.

If you're smart enough to end an inquisitive sentence with a question mark, you're smart enought to know the answer to your question.
So, I'll answer your rhetorical question. Millions of Americans are interested in Sarah and take her seriously. Or, perhaps the Democrat/Liberal Psyche, reasons that Sarah sold her books to people who have no interest in her.
Does that make "any sense?"

Obviously there are plenty of stupid people if Sarah can continue to support the family and live in luxury while having indulging her fantasies. The kids will survive without a Mother while she has all the fun she missed out on by losing her beauty contest. The kids were always just accidental obligations anyway. In all the photos, it looks like the kids just parent themselves while Mommy and Daddy play!

Palin had my interest until she started yammering about feminists. Focusing on one gender is as wrong as focusing on one race. There are TWO genders on this planet (generally); there are over 150 different ethnic groups represented in The United States. Get a freaking clue. Focusing on women 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year is about all we can stand at this time. Any more would be too much.

Talk about myopic commentary! Reading these comments (7/23/2010) about Kate Gosselin's production including former Alaska governor Sarah Palin's participation is like seeing the old "Grunt Free Press" articles during my tours in Southeast Asia! Wake up: it's 2010 now -- the "Village Voice" has died! I for one (apparently!) enjoy learning about who, what, where and why of American life. You who post such negative comments on topics of little to no knowledge of your own characterize yourselves as ignorant ugly Americans of years-gone-by -- which is where you seem to be! To you who report "Nobody Cares!" I would inquire: When did you ask everyone? I will watch "Kate Plus Eight" with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin as guest for the same reasons that I still read the Washington Post: I like to learn! Really, some of the posted commentary on this Blog exemplifies the most ridiculously ignorant readership; you should be ashamed of yourselves. FYI: Ignorant readers -- the whole world is watching (and reading) you. If you even wonder why the Chinese hope to overpower this nation, read what you have written here! You are not entertaining any ignorance other than your own, and I would appreciate your not including ME in your diatribes of "everyone" "no one" and "never" as you continue to express your personal brand of stupidity. I will look forward to seeing Sarah Palin's appearance on "Kate Plus Eight" even though I do not typically watch TLC productions now. And to you who seem to believe that your own parenting skills are somehow superior, you may want to ask yourself when was the last time you lost your temper with your own children over what they perceived to be in their own interests versus what you thought they should be doing. Call me nefarious if you want to (or worse if you really think you're smarter than me!), but I continue to learn from my children's maturity -- whereas you seem to feel that yours don't have any. "Kate Plus Eight" production of Sarah Palin and her very successful father's presentation of Alaskan natural science and resources will be an exceptionally well received view of American life. I live down here on the Florida gulf coast, and I want to know her Dad knows about hydrocarbon recovery and its long-term impact on ecological and socio-environmental resources. I (again for one!) really doubt that this will be a production lesson on breast feeding of small children, and its impact on successful adult perceptions -- something that your mother's might have missed! Now get back out there, and continue to make fools of yourselves. You're fun to watch! Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin: thanks for taking this time to attempt to educate these American nay-sayers, and I truly hope that you're not wasting your time. I -- for one! -- applaud your efforts! Thanks, TLC -- I'm going to start watching more of your shows!

I'm all for any show $arah is on. There has never been a Presidential candidate who has gone down this idiotic path. A Palin-Gosselin reality show would be awesome & the ultimate train wreck. $arah can do all this stupid stuff but if she runs she is going to HAVE to sit down & have a weighty converation on the issues. A debate with Obama would be a debacle for $arah.

I'd love to see some serious banter between $arah & Kate about international travel for the brood & someone bringing up the G-20. Would the 2 of them have a clue what this is, what they do & what are the member countries & its leaders? I'll bet Maddy Gosselin knows what the G-20 is.

The only concerns these 2 Mama grizzlies would have is how they could exploit these adventures with the requisite stunt of photo-ops with the leaders without any substantial conversation between $arah & the leader.

However $arah & Kate would definitely want to meet Carla Bruni for fashion guidance on the top designers. These Mama Grizzlies do like their fancy clothes. I do want to see $arah & Kate on the French Riviera in their bikinis with the children cavorting in the sand. They'd love a cover with Vogue. Todd the lackey will be lugging all the luggage around. I realize these scenes are a dream because $arah is such an isolationist she's not going to go beyond our borders.

How can any thinking citizen possibly think $arah should be in the White House? $arah will take us back to the 15th century, the century before Shakespeare, who undoubtedly would exploit these lives.

"she will give life assistance to real families?" When does Kate find the time to be a mother to her "real family?" I can't think of a better pair...Kate and Palin the Pittbull in Lipstick. Palin has a child with Downs Syndrom which requires a remarkable amount of time to support, and Kate has 8 very young children, but somehow the two of them can find so much time to attend media shoots and fan fairs. I had two children, and I don't know how I found the time--with a husband--to raise them effectively. Apparently "parenthood" isn't "real life" for these two gold-diggers.

In tomorrow's episode, Soap Opera Sarah uses her influence to get Levi's mom out of jail long enough to attend a Palin family dinner. The zany antics continue when her security detail's drug dogs start barking upon Levi's mom's arrival. This is really a public service for people like me who are looking to remove stations from my remote. Nice though.. how Sarah Palin is making the decisions easier. Fox News and now TLC. It always amazes me that people are even remotely sold on "reality TV" as though it is in fact reality. It is a sad commentary on America that encourages political parties to run people for office based on popularity ratings rather than intellectual capability.

Let's just add the Octomom to this unholy mix of maternal mediocrity. I'm sure she'd love to exploit her brood again for more publicity as well. That would make for some fabulously craptastic television viewing.
