President Obama returns to "The View"

President Barack Obama has agreed to sit down with the ladies of "The View" this Thursday -- the first time a sitting president has appeared on a daytime talk show, ABC says.

"View" den mother Barbara Walters, who has been out since May after undergoing open heart surgery, will "make an exclusive in-studio appearance" to interview Obama, even though she wasn't supposed to return to work until September. You didn't think she was going to let Whoopi Goldberg or Joy Behar, who moonlights as a CNN Headline News show host, take the lead on this interview, did you?

ABC says Obama's making the appearance in order to talk about "his administration's accomplishments, jobs, the economy, the Gulf oil spill and family life inside the White House."

The last time he appeared on "The View," in March 2008, he was running for president. First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on the "The View" in June 2008.

A really stupid idea, the complete opposite of being presidential. What's next, Ellen?

Agreeing to be on that silly show proves that Obama will do ANYTHING for an extended photo opp. For the audience he's trying to win, that's the wrong program. What's next - "Hot in Cleveland"? The Kardashians?! Let's see how declasse the Leader of the Free World is willing to get.

I think this is a terrific idea. He'll be seen by people, especially women, who don't follow political issues that closely or only get their "views" from Fox. This Administration has been vilified enough. They've made mistakes, but they have done a lot for all of us. It's time to show that. I read a quote the other day, I don't remember by who but it went something like this: Give Obama a break. He's like the Captain who agreed to command the Titanic AFTER it hit the iceberg." Just say'n.

I don't watch The View much, but they can't be worse than the gasbags on cable news--or on Sunday morning, for that matter.

"his administration's accomplishments:

Jobs: 3-5 million jobs destroyed. "gimmie o'barry's $787 billion ($830?) big back pocket slave reparations are mostly wasted, the rest "to be spent by Sept. 12, 2012, Duh!

the economy: Foreign-born Muslim terrorist-in-chief covers up the $600 trillion derivatives fraud, sells us over to the Fed Plantation. The biggest traitor ever born on this planet.

the Gulf oil spill: A desperate psy-op by Obama to scare us into the AGW scam to kill 80% of us useless breathers by 2050.

family life inside the White House: The Obamas are practicing Santeria goat sacrifice on the 3rd Floor. They attack their enemies with Voodoo.

(Below, another big story the State run media refuses to cover BUT covers Obama going on a left-wing talk show...)

Regarding the Lockerbie bombers release...Obama feigned surprise when his release was announced. (Obama said that most Americans were "surprised, disappointed and angry" about the decision to let al Megrahi go.) Yet, he knew at least one week in advance AND his administration said it would be better if he was released under "humanitarian" needs instead of a prisoner exchange! That's right, we were told al Megrah was going to die of cancer, but that story was a lie.

There is a pattern developing here: Obama is soft on terrorists and terrorism directed at the United States. Clearly Obama thinks it's OK to release a terrorist that killed 200 Americans.

Obama = Liar-in-Chief

I think your post is chock full of misstatements and innuendos. I find it funny you forget how Bush wanted to outsource our port security to Dubai, a country who two of their citizens participated in the September 11th attacks. Or how about him walking hand in hand with the Saudi Prince just months after the Princes subjects killed over 3000 of our citizens?
