Mary Hart grills Sarah Palin Thursday on 'Entertainment Tonight'

Less than 24 hours after Jon Stewart's interview with President Obama aired, Mary Hart, the grand dame of "Entertainment Tonight" will be seen on your TV interviewing Sarah Palin at her home in Wasilla.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate - and soon to be star of a TLC network reality series -- is going to tell Mary Hart she will run for president in 2012 "if there's nobody else to do it."

And, so there's no confusion, she will explain to Mary Hart that by "nobody else to do it" she means she is going to take "a real close look at the lay of the land, to consider whether there are those with that common sense, conservative, pro-Constitution passion, whether there are already candidates out there who can do the job
or whether there's nobody willing to do it, to make the tough choices and not care what the critics are going to say about you, just going forward according to what I think the priorities should be."

And Mary Hart will be wearing something very stylish that will show off her incredible legs and she will nod sweetly and move on to the next question on her script. Or, maybe they'll cut to some video of Palin's daughter, Bristol, performing on ABC's reality series "Dancing with the Stars." But it will be one of her modest performances, not that one in which, as Bristol described it, she was out on stage in her underwear doing a dance that's about sex and stuff.

That's when Palin will tell Mary Hart that she won't be in the "Dancing" audience next week because she will be covering the mid-term elections for Fox News Channel. And, she'll "joke" to Mary Hart that she and Bristol are going to be competing for ratings, and Bristol is going to "kick my butt."

There is an exciting clip of this interview at ET online. Sarah is adorable!

How on earth could a wing nut like Palin ever be "adorable" -- she is too bigoted

Posted by: fairness3 | October 28, 2010 11:17 AM | Report abuse

Sarah is adorable like a snake in the grass.

Adorable would never be a word I would use to describe Sarah Palin. The word might start with "a" though.

Willy Wonka lives in a world of pure imagination with Umpa Lumpas and schnozeberries! All are welcome.

If not for a simple twist of fate or two, Sarah Palin would _be_ Mary Hart.

One more thing to keep Sarah away from her children. She has been dumping that little boy off on her relatives since she had him but loves to drag him up on stage when she thinks he may give her a rating boost.

Sarah Palin for President - WOW. The Republican Party has gone way down hill but will it go that far? Tune in in 2012 to find out.

Limbaugh, Beck, Coulter, O'Reilly.... All the conservative leaders are entertainers. Why shouldn't Palin be? Maybe she's figured out that Republican office holders get their orders from the entertainers.

Next to an actually attractive older woman, Sarah Palin will look like a pug.

Likes attract. That's why the crazed, frothy-mouthed Right loves Sarah.

Sarah the Quitter, 2012!

But, be careful in your criticism. You might get arrested or get your head stomped in by the brown-shirted, Jack-booted Tea Bagger crowd.

If you would stop paying attention to her, she would go away. Please, please, stop.

Posted by: pookiefan | October 28, 2010 12:41 PM | Report abuse

She means she is going to take a real close look at the lay of the land, to consider whether there are those with that nonsense, conservative, total ignorance of the Constitution passion, whether there are already candidates out there who mistakenly think they can do the job or whether there's some other nobody willing to do it, to make the tough wardrobe choices and not care what the critics are going to say about her, just going forward according to what she thinks the priorities should be and quit halfway through the first term and cash in at every opportunity.

What is the point of this article, other than to ridicule the Palins? Why not some investigative reporting, or even analysis?

Posted by: tina5 | October 28, 2010 12:55 PM | Report abuse

I'm not sure if she discussed her MC HAMMER glasses. Anyone know?

"covering" the mid-term elections.

Are you kidding me? The half-term governor of Alaska is barely competent enough to cover a bed.

Liberals have no right to be critical of anyone when they have the poster boy for stupid in the White House now.

At least Palin had run a city and a state government successfully. All obama has done is run his mouth and run our country down.

Posted by: COOLCHILLY | October 28, 2010 1:16 PM | Report abuse

Who is Mary Hart?

COOLCHILLY said, "Liberals have no right to be critical of anyone when they have the poster boy for stupid in the White House now."

Wait a minute--how did you get in the White House?

Anyone who seriously thinks the president is stupid must really be STUPID.

Sarah Palin has made over 12 million bucks since she 'resigned' from the governorship.
She's all about Sarah Palin and not the American people. But morons who think she's 'cute' keep feeding her gigantic, profit driven ego. Now that's 'stupid' you can take to the bank!

Sarah Palin in 2012. That's good news for the Democrats.

When will this unfit mother go back to Alaska and take care of her family instead of making most people in the lower 48 sick to their stomachs. As for Bristol's dancing, Dancing Bears or Dogs could do better. She is only still there because her mothers appearance every week is putting pressure on the judges not to give her low scores. Its rigged!

Posted by: sumo1 | October 28, 2010 2:34 PM | Report abuse

sumo asks:
When will this unfit mother go back to Alaska and take care of her family?

Considering that after Palin's water broke when she was pregnant last time (with her Down syndrome child), instead of going to one of the world-class hospitals in Houston in her at-risk condition, she flew all the way back to Anchorage, then rode back to her small town to have him in a local hospital. When I first heard of this (after Palin was nominated for VP in 2008) I wondered if this was the Wasilla Hillbilly method of partial birth abortion. Except the baby survived, so now she fobs him off on relatives much of the time. Has anyone else ever noticed that she holds the kid like a sack of potatoes, not interacting much with him. Really unmaternal.

How very interesting to know what Sarah Palin 'is going to say' on a programme
hosted by the aged Mary Hart. Mary Hart's great legs? Hmmm!
A little chunky on the calves I would say not to mention about the thickness of her middle.
Hey but what does it matter Mary married a wealthy guy...she can afford to correct any discrepancies in her appearance can she not?
Whatever happened to the Women's Liberation supporting women? Huh? Only if they are liberal it would seem!

The only thing I want to read about Sarah Palin is that her plane went down in Alaska.
