TLC leaks scene from Sarah Palin's new show

[This blog post has been updated]

Three months after TLC leaked photos of its newest reality series star Sarah Palin and her family going fishing and encountering a mother bear and her cubs -- which leak recipient TMZ noted Palin refrained from killing -- the Silver-Spring, Md.-based cable network has now released a one-minute tease of that encounter between the bears and America's Most Famous "Dancing With the Stars" audience member.

When not in Hollywood, supporting her daughter on the ABC dance competition series, Palin likes to go fishing with her family. In the clip, they are in a small craft, going salmon fishing. They spot the bears off in the distance. They motor up to the bears - even though the Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation at the Alaska Department of Natural Resources clearly states on its Web site that if you see a bear that is far-ish away, "turn around and go back" and "don't disturb."

"Look, there's a bear," Palin says, as they get closer.

"Cute!" Palin says, in re a baby bear that has appeared as the boat draws nearer.

One adult bear makes noises at another.

"Oh - he's telling them to get the heck out of here," Palin translates, for the camera.

This is awesome!" she says.

"I love watching these mama bears," she adds.

Cut to Palin in post-fishing interview: "What I see in that is what a mom would do, too. Anything and everything, laying down her life for her kids."

Back to On the Boat Palin:

"Let's get the fish before the bear gets the fish!"

"A bear is coming towards us. We're going to back up - look at his claws!" she continues.

Cut to Palin in post-fishing interview: "Yeah, you know what, I'm looking around to Todd going, 'Uh, are you feeling what I'm feeling?' It could think we're its lunch instead of the little tiny salmon."

Back to On the Boat Palin, as the boat heads out and gets snagged: "Of all times -- we're snagged on a rock."

Will the Palin's survive?

Will the bears survive?

Will the salmon survive?

Tune in to "Sarah Palin's Alaska" on Sunday, Nov. 14, on TLC, to find out!

Let's do one with Dick Cheney, we can ask:

Who's he going to shoot this time?

Let's make it interesting - we'll have him on an expedition with Karl Rove and Roger Ailes. With any luck there'll be a mexican standoff and they'll all shoot one another.

Boycott stupidity. We deserve better than this pandering from TLC.

That the Discovery channel would sink so low to present this type of entertainment - staged entertainment and a farce - is pathetic, Esp after the more factual shows that they have done in the reality series. It is all about presenting Palin as the Candidate to be a Evangelical conservative Republican candidate for President in 2012 all perfectly choreographed now that she has money in her back account. That woman will never see the vote of this writer nor my wife as she would also say - Sarah Palin is empty where it counts!

I'm sooooo glad I don't spend my money on cable TV service anymore. Cable stations will apparently pick any lame show which fills up their 'air' time.

It sounds like this show should be on at 3am, for the bored insomniacs to have something to laugh at while they can't sleep.

The Palin's should be lucky that bear doesn't want to eat them. The bear can tell by a very keen sense of smell that they wouldn't taste good, they're full of s---.

One of the first thing ones learns from working in the wild. Stay away from animals that could attack you, especially one with a baby. She shows such a disregard for herself and her family. Will she show the same disregard if she ever becomes President? Cable TV needs to spend their cash and time on quality programing not this kind of trash!

Why am I not surprised that she'd show such amazing disrespect for a mama protecting her young?

The Palin Motto: "If it ain't me, screw it".

Next episode: Shoot Mama from a Plane.

One more time, her ego swells. Her bank
account swells. And if I watched any of that mindless activity, I would barf!
My money is on the bears. They at least
know what they are doing.
