Lt. Gov. Bolling Ramps Up Campaigning

Anita Kumar

It looks like Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling is getting ready to do some serious campaigning. No, not for himself. He's hitting the road to help Republicans running for local and legislative offices in Nov. 6 election.

Just check out his schedule next week:

On Monday, he's attending a reception for Sen. James K. "Jay" O'Brien Jr. (R-Fairfax), who is locked in a tight race for re-election.

On Tuesday, he's at a breakfast for Chris Braunlich and Steve Hunt, candidates for Fairfax County School Board. That night he's stopping in at a reception for Del. Mark L. Cole (R-Fredericksburg).

On Thursday, he's at a breakfast for Tricia Stall, a Republican Senate candidate in Newport News. Later, he's attending an Albemarle GOP Rally in Charlottesville to support local constitutional officers.

On Friday, he's a speaker at the Roanoke County Republican Committee Luncheon. That afternoon, he's holding a press conference with Del. Lacey E. Putney (I-Bedford) and the Bedford County Sheriff.

And don't think he's taking it easy on Wednesday. He has two radio shows lined up.
