Del. Hugo Named to House Leadership

Del. Timothy D. Hugo (R-Fairfax), who is serving his third term in the House, has been named assistant chairman for the House Republican caucus.
"I am delighted that Tim has agreed to accept this important responsibility," said Del. Samuel A. Nixon Jr. (R-Chesterfield), House Republican caucus chairman. "I look forward to leveraging his unique legislative skills and talents."
Hugo is chairman of two subcommittees for the Commerce and Labor and the Finance committees.
"Tim has a well-earned reputation as a skilled legislator, consistently contributing his time and experience to benefit the people of his district and Virginia," House Speaker William J. Howell (R-Stafford) said. "Since joining the House in 2003, Tim has developed a positive working relationship with his fellow caucus members, and, as a result, has become a strong, effective voice for the people of Northern Virginia."
