Kaine Looks to Budget Showdown

Gov. Timothy M. Kaine (D) and his pollster, Pete Brodnitz, held a conference call with Senate Democratic leaders yesterday to begin preparing a strategy for dealing with the state's budget shortfall, according to officials familiar with the call.
Kaine didn't offer a lot of specifics on how he plans to trim spending, but he said Democratic internal polls show the party has the upper hand with the public when it comes to making budget decisions. Kaine also noted his approval rating remains high despite the budget shortfall.
Brodnitz also told legislators that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is in a strong position to win Virginia this fall.

Kaine should resign. Kaine is restoring the voting rights of hardened criminals, just so they can vote for Obama.

Will Obama keep hanging around with terrorists (William Ayers) and racists (Rev. Wright) if he gets elected?

You know its pretty sad when you have to inflate yourself and brag about your own poll numbers. But I am glad to hear that Kaine will at least take the time out of his busy schedule campaigning for Obama to at least tend to the constituents that elected him. What a guy....
