Palin to Appear at GOP Fundraiser in Fairfax

Tim Craig

Republican vice-presidential nominee Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be in Tysons Corner in Fairfax County next Monday to help raise money for the national party, according to GOP officials.

Palin's visit comes as some Virginia Republicans are increasingly nervous that GOP presidential nominee John McCain is not campaigning hard enough in the state, where polls indicate he is tied with Democratic nominee Barack Obama. McCain and Palin have held only one public event in Virginia, which took place a month ago. In news stories this weekend in the Washington Post and Politico, some Virginia Republicans expressed concern that the GOP ticket is taking Virginia for granted.

Gail Gitcho, a McCain spokeswoman, said she is not ready to release when, or if, Palin or McCain will be in Virginia for an event other than a fundraiser.

Palin talks about Obama - does she even realize she might be the only VP candidate to be indicted? Based on what I have seen - she doesn't have a clue....

Joe McCain called Virginians as communists. But Palin wants to raise money from the same people who were dubbed as communists by the McCain camp. It fits McCain's character very well. In the late 80s there was a joke about Arizona thanks to John McCain. The joke goes like this.

qn: What is the best thing your money can buy from Arizona?
Ans: A senator.

Even John McCain's friend Charles Keating in the 80s who paid close to $112,000 to John McCain's bid for office called McCain a "wimp". That made John McCain angry and he started leaking confidential information about the Keating's Lincoln Savings and Loan congressional investigation to the press. McCain is a man whom this country can't trust because of his dealings with corrupt bank executives, and the corrupt bank executives can't trust him either because he squeals when he gets rubbed the wrong way.

Joe McCain calls Virginians communist and John McCain calls Obama a terrorist over what Bill Ayers did when Obama was 8 years old. Apparently neither McCain cares what they say about people.

John Kerry, whether you liked him or not, was a decorated hero and by the time John McCain Swiftboated him, he looked like dirt.

Seems the results are in, the most electable republican ticket would be Huckabee/Palin, not McCain/Palin this is according to a new poll at watchdebate.com nearly 4 to 1 people would preffer Huckabee/Palin over McCain/Palin. Ha The RNC got it way wrong this time.
