Paltrow Cancels Va Appearances

Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who was set to headline get-out-the-vote kickoff events tomorrow at Democratic offices in Richmond and Arlington, canceled "due to an illness."
With just days left before Tuesday's election, Obama's campaign is ramping up its efforts with rallies, phone banks and canvasses across the state. Thousands of volunteers are expected to go door-to-door to urge their neighbors to vote.

Jim, looks like you're one seriously sore loser. I am looking toward the future with excitement, I can't imagine how you or anyone could be bored. Keep sticking with what hasn't worked for you I suppose.

And her husband and Coldplay will be playing at the Verizon Center tomorrow night, where I will be seeing them!

Isn't Paltrow one of those Americans that lives in England? She should get involved in that country's politics, and stop getting involved when it's convenient for her.

Back off Kolbkl. As long as she's an American she has the right to get involved in American politics. Living abroad doesn't mean forfeiting your citizenship duties/rights, especially when you still pay American taxes.

Seems to me she found someplace better. Good for her.
I hope she does the event with her new accent.

Knock on my door again?? How many times do I have to lie to the Obama supporters that I will be voting for Obama before they leave me alone? Next one that comes to my door, I will ask them the same questions as Barbara West from Florida station.
