Impressive. Knowing what type of fundraising he has done on the national level, this comes as no surprise. And why shouldn't national sources be tapped for a governor's race? The national Party has a vested interest in winning, not to mention that greater visibility tends to increase public interest and is certainly healthy for the Democratic Party of Virginia and the Democratic Party of America. An added bonus: this is a great way for investors to bring jobs to the Commonwealth.
