Kaine Plans a Jam Session

Looking for a chance to see Gov. Tim Kaine play the harmonica?
Kaine will hold a jam session with Boyd Tinsley, a violinist with the Dave Matthews Band, as part of his political action committee's big annual fundraiser Thursday night.
The event at Maymont -- a popular Richmond venue that includes a historical house and a 100-acre park -- will be the last fundraiser for Moving Virginia Forward before the Democratic primary June 9. Tickets are $100.
Tinsley, a Charlottesville native, has donated money to Moving Virginia Forward every year since Kaine has been govenor. He has also donated $27,500 to Kaine and another $20,000 to the Democratic Party of Virginia.
In 2005, Tinsley have R. Creigh Deeds $25,000 in his race for attorney general.
But this year, he has given $10,000 to Deeds for his gubernatorial campaign and $5,000 to Deeds' Democratic rival Brian Moran.
This is one time Terry McAuliffe did not get the celebrity money.
