Have You Voted? Tell Us About It

Low turnout is being reported in the governor's race primary; we'd like to hear about your experiences at the polls today. Let us know in the comments where and when you voted and how many voters and campaign volunteers were around when you went.

You can also let us know who you voted for in the poll below.

Too bad Moran will come in last.

Voted at 10:30 at a precinct in the southern part of Fairfax County. There had been about 100 voters by then.

There were zero volunteers present. Three Wagner signs, three Moran signs in a small group near the sidewalk. No McAuliffe or Deeds signs.

There was one other voter who was leaving as I arrived.

I got many thanks from the three election officials for having voted. I told them they are the ones who deserve our thanks. Think how many times these poor souls have been dragged out for all our local special elections since last November. Those were bipartisan (they were the general elections for those seats) and had even lower turnout than this.

Voted at Farmwell Middle School in Ashburn (eastern Loudoun county) around nine o'clcokc. I was the only voter in the room. The election officials had books open to pass the time between voters. A thank you from me to every election official. Got a piece of literature about Wagner from one campaign volunteer and a piece of literature about McAuliffe from another campaign volunteer. No other campaign volunteers on the sidewalk. On my way back to the parking lot a campaign volunteer was posting signs for Creigh Deeds. Signs for all the other candidates for governor were already up.

I am suprised that Creigh is shead is ahead in this poll I voted via absentee ballot for Brian Moran. But if this is any sign i think Criegh Deeds will win though as a supporter I hope Northern Virginia will turn the tide for Moran.

My family voted at Cedar Lane Elem School in Ashburn at 1:15. We were the 50th voters for the day. Noted McDonnell signs out front of the school. We voted for McAuliffe but now regret it after learning his campaign facilitated an attack by VT students against Deeds last night that was 100% totally unfair about guns. Deeds was the one who worked to try to close the gun show loophole this year. Now I wish we had voted for Deeds. We need a candidate with character and integrity not one that has millions for a great GOTV effort.
