Moran Concedes

At 8:06, former Del. Brian Moran conceded in the race for governor.

About 50 Moran supporters filed into a sparse-looking ballroom at the Alexandria Hilton Mark Center, with many grimly watching the unofficial state results post to a giant screen.

"Brian helped rebuild this party to a position of prominence so I'm very disappointed," said Michael Cook, 62, an attorney from Alexandria. He added that he thought the Post's editorial endorsement of Deeds "played a huge part" and was a "disservice."

Even in defeat Moran complains. His sense of entitlement is sickening.
