Another Day, Another Endorsement

Republican Bob McDonnell received yet another endorsement from yet another business group today.
Yes, McDonnell is surpassing rival Democrat Creigh Deeds in endorsements, but the question is, will they translate to actual votes in November?
The National Federation of Independent Business, which calls itself Virginia's leading small-business association, endorsed McDonnell and Bill Bolling for lieutenant governor this afternoon. (What happened to the attorney general's race?)
Yesterday, McDonnell was endorsed by the Virginia Credit Union League. So for those keeping track (like the folks at McDonnell's headquarters) let's recap what McDonnell's recent endorsements couldmean:
NFIB: 5,300 member businesses
Credit Union League: 194 member businesses, 3 million members
Virginia Association of Realtors: 33,000
Virginia Farm Bureau Federation: 147,000 members statewide
Of course, all those people won't vote for McDonnell. If they did, the race would be over now. But we will see what impact -- if any -- they have on Election Day.
