New Deeds Ad: Elections Matter"

Rosalind Helderman

Democrat Creigh Deeds has been the star of the most recent Republican ads in the governor's race. Now Deeds is making Republican Bob McDonnell the star of his most recent spot.

This ad is designed to the be exclamation point on the Deeds argument that social issues have been the driving force in McDonnell's public career, using footage of McDonnell telling the National Right to Life Committee last year that elections are important because they determine whether pro-life lawmakers reach office. The Deeds campaign says it will air statewide from now until Nov. 3.

Good enough...OK. But Deeds, when are you going to put YOURSELF out there, tell us who you really are, and what you want to do as Governor! This is getting annoying....if people know Creigh Deeds, they're going to vote for him because of him, not against Taliban Bob...

And if this election is made a contest on the ISSUES, Democrats all around will win.

I agree. Creigh could really slam Bob on something as simple as tolls and really undo the common thread of the GOP campaign. All he would have to do is ask Republican lawmakers publicly if they would support increasing toll booths in their districts. Simple things like that.

Yes to all the comments about what Deeds will do.

It's as simple as Bobbie's tolls. Where would they go? At the 395 bridge to/from DC; along 495? And Bobbie's oil drilling bonanza. It isn't there at all or certainly not in the foreseeable future. That is not a transportation plan.

Bobbie has no idea how to fix the continuing jobs disaster which is terrible except in NOVA.

Education is not fixed by taking money away. Education is the key to a prosperous and secure future. A lack of education locks people into economic slavery.

So say why Bobbie McTaliban’s ideas on real right now issues are full of hot air and then say what Deeds will do.
