Obama to Return to Va. for Deeds on Oct. 27

The date is set: President Obama is returning to Virginia to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds on Oct. 27.
The Deeds campaign surely hopes the visit, confirmed by the White House and the campaign, will motivate core Democratic voters inspired by Obama's effort last year. It should also put to rest some of the chattering about whether the White House was backing off Deeds' effort, with polls showing him trailing.
We'll bring you details when we have them.
UPDATE: The Deeds campaign has put out a formal release about the Obama rally. "Further details will be announced in coming days," according the release.
