GOP Launches New Ad on Deeds and Taxes

Anita Kumar

The Republican Governors Association is out this morning with a new TV ad in Northern Virginia.

Guess what this one is about? You guessed it. Taxes again.

The new ad shows Democrat Creigh Deeds making what appears to be conflicting statements on taxes during and after the last debate.

"No amount of political double-talk can hide the fact that Creigh Deeds wants to hike taxes," RGA spokesman Mike Schrimpf said.

Update: By the way, in case you are wondering, McDonnell's and Deeds's campaigns signed an agreement not to use footage of the debate afterward it was over, but the RGA was not part of that agreement.

Ahh the leftist water carrying Compost is still at it. Look at the 2 headlines this morning: "GOP Launches New Ad on Deeds and Taxes", and "Deeds Ad Suggests McDonnell is Robertson's, Not Fairfax's Own." The sinister GOP "launches" ads, Dirty Deeds merely "suggests" if you will..What's the definition of insanity, Compost? You obviously know it..

“The new ad shows Democrat Creigh Deeds making what appears to be conflicting statements on taxes during and after the last debate.”

“WHAT APPEARS TO BE” . . . HAHAHA . . . maybe the next time the RGA lip-syncs Creigh Deeds they can make him sing like Michael Jackson and do the moonwalk.

Does the WPost actually pay Anita Kumar to write the astute political drivel? If so, I’d ask for my money back. What a joke.

Tell it like it is. Mr. Deeds is for new taxes and will raise taxes; how else can you say it?

Honestly SMWE357, I'm starting to think that if we republished "Green Eggs & Ham," verbatim, you'd find insidious conspiracy buried in the rhymes. Finding offense in *everything* undercuts your message.

Little touchy there Mr. Editor. I believe readers are encouraged to "even challenge" the paper's blogging. While I believe the Post has been shown its typical slant, it hasn't been Ms. Kumar.
