McDonnell staffs up

Gov.-elect Bob McDonnell is filling out his transition team, largely moving key campaign personnel into similar jobs preparing the way for his January Inauguration.

Campaign chief operations officer Janet Polarek was named deputy director of personnel and administration.

McGuireWoods Consultant Eric Finkbeiner will be McDonnell's director of policy. Campaign policy director Melissa Laughner will serve as the transition's assistant director for policy.

Deputy Campaign manager Mike Reynold becomes the assistant director for policy. He was Virginia State Director for McCain for President in 2008.

Jasen Eige, counsel to the campaign, becomes counsel to the transition. Deputy Campaign Manager Dave Rexrode becomes Director of Community Outreach

Monica Block will be McDonnell's scheduler and Adam Zubowsky will serve as aide to the gov-elect.
