McDonnell: Cuccinelli lawsuit won't hurt opposition to health care law
The Washington Post's David Weigel, of the Right Now blog, spoke with Bob McDonnell (R) at the meeting of Republican state chairmen today about Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli's legal challege to the federal health care law. McDonnell told Weigel that Cuccinelli's lawsuit won't hurt other conservative efforts. Here is his blog post.
UPDATE, 3:25 p.m.:
Weigel also asked McDonnell for his thoughts on yesterday's primary defeat of Rep. Alan Mollohan (D-W.Va.). The 14-term incumbent was challenged over his support of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and his leisurely opposition to cap-and-trade climate legislation.
