McDonnell raising money for GOP candidates in Vermont, Maryland

Anita Kumar

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell will spend Monday raising money for Republican candidates for governor in Maryland and Vermont.

First, he will attend a fundraiser for Vermont Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie in Washington at noon. Dubie faces a number of Democratic candidates.

Then, as we previously told you, he will attend a fundraiser for former Maryland Gov. Bob Ehrlich at a home in McLean at 6 p.m. Ehrlich is running against Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D).

McDonnell is much in demand by candidates across the nation and has said he will spend much of the summer and fall campaigning for those running for governor and Congress.
