RNC Chairman Steele to stop in Fairfax on Election Day

Anita Kumar

Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican National Committee, will stop by Fairfax County on Tuesday morning, Election Day, to talk to volunteers who will be calling voters and encouraging them to get out to the polls.

Fairfax is the home of a tight race between Rep. Gerry Connolly (D) and Republican Keith Fimian in Virginia's 11th District.

Monday morning, Vice President Biden's wife, Jill Biden, launched a get-out-the-vote campaign for Connolly at the congressman's headquarters.
