Republican State Leadership Committee taps Jankowski as president

As The Fix reported Monday morning, the Republican State Leadership Committee announced that Chris Jankowski would be assuming the position of president.
Jankowski is well known in Richmond circles as a lobbyist. He previously served as executive director of the RSLC's Redistricting Majority Program. The committee leads GOP efforts in non-federal races, and it turned in a huge performance in 2010 that will give it lots of control over redistricting.
Read the press release.
Ed Gillespie, former Republican National Committee chairman and general chairman of Gov. Bob McDonnell's 2009 campaign, remains chairman of the RSLC.
