New Chief of Strategic Planning at Sprint Nextel
Sprint Nextel today named former BellSouth executive Keith Cowan as its president of strategic planning and corporate initiatives. Cowan will report directly to Sprint chief executive Gary Forsee and oversee efforts that include a joint cable venture and 4G Mobile Broadband, the company said in a statement.
Sprint also announced that John Garcia, current head of the joint cable venture, will take over as senior vice president of product management. He will report to Tim Kelly, who was named chief marketing officer last month.
