Slate Launches Video Offering
WaPo Co.'s Slate online magazine is rolling out something it calls "Slate V," a new video offering that will feature original video, top picks from around the Web and selected user-generated video. (www.SlateV.com).
To help run the site, Slate hired Bill Smee as executive producer. Smee most recently oversaw content at Discovery Times Channel and the current affairs documentaries across Discovery networks, Slate said in this release. He previously worked in CNN's long form and documentary video units.
