* Bethesda's Hanger Orthopedic buys therapeutic footwear maker SureFit.

*The nonprofit company that runs Prince George's hospital system sues the county for funding.

* Montgomery County backs off a plan to raise parking fees after complaints it would hurt small businesses in neighborhoods such as Silver Spring and Wheaton.
