Does Honest Tea Go Better With Coke?

Honest Tea, the Bethesda organic beverage company, announced today that it had sold 40 percent of itself to Coca-Cola. The company's co-founder, Seth Goldman, knows there will be questions about whether he has sold out. He has answers, which he lays out in a lengthy blog posting of his own. It's worth a close read; here's a tiny excerpt:

I have the same passion and drive for building Honest Tea that I had in1998 but I want to focus less on raising money, managing production and distribution challenges and more on building the brand and our mission. If we could find an investor who will help us build our business while still honoring our style of business, then that seems like an ideal scenario.
