Jose Alvarez was good for Giant Food.He has help them through the ruff times as U.S Foodservices doormat. He was a man of his word and could be trusted.

I don't know about this. Jose Alvarez has turned this business around, and made Stop & Shop strong. Carl Schlicker will not move us into the future, as he is not innovative. Just look at the Giant Carlisle stores vs the Stop & Shop stores of today. S&S is the strongest it has ever been. That is a direct result of the new life that Jose pumped into it. Like I said...I don't know about this move. I am stunned right now...
