Hilton Leases In Tysons

By Dana Hedgpeth

Hilton Hotels has signed a lease for roughly 100,000 square feet of office space at Park Place II in Tysons Corner. The 300,000-square-foot building, owned by B.F. Saul, was built last year and 17 percent of it is leased, according to CoStar Group, a real estate research firm.

Hilton is expected to move into the building in the fall. The hotel chain surprised the local business community in January when it announced it was moving its headquarters to the Washington region from Beverly Hills. It chose Fairfax County after looking closely at a spot in Montgomery County. Hilton got a $4.6 million incentive package from state and local funds.
