Atten: Dan Froomkin. Re: Your column of 05-04-'09, on Torture.
Congratulations on your column concerniing torture by the U.S. Government. As nearly as I can tell, about 90 percent of the population of the U.S. hate and abhor the thought of torturing prisoners, and feel, as do I, that anyone breaking the law, and the provissions of our U.S. Constitution, should be punished to the full extent of the law. Since our new president is uncomfortable about prosecuting the guilty, I firmly suggest that the matter be turned over to The International Court of Justice in the Hague, Netherlands. There, the world could see what we have done, and our attempts to repair the damage
as witnesses testify under oath.
Cyrano demands that these illigal acts be
turned over to a court that is above the reach of the lobbyists, and the political fights of our system.
Cyrano will now shut-up, temporarily.
