Easter Egg Roll Update

Tickets for the White House's world-famous Easter Egg Roll -- being distributed online this year, for the first time -- will be available at various times throughout the day here.

Twitterers are reporting only modest success getting through the overwhelmed servers at Front Gate tickets.

I still remember the Easter Egg Roll from when I went as a kid. What fun. So keep trying.

I have been trying to get tickets all day. At 4 different points, I 'thought' I had secured tickets - only to be booted from the system. The White House HAD to expect 'high demand' and yet - the company and system they chose cannot handle the demand. The other issue I have is with the 'preset' number of Adult and child combination for tickets. The most glaring missed combination is 2 Adults - 1 child. The incompetence being displayed by this administaration on a daily basis, at all levels, is nothing short of amazing.

Get ready to see these tickets crop up on e-bay, stubhub, etc for a fancy price.

I got mine about an hour ago... 4 child & 2 adult tickets. I swear I had 3 browsers open at once and had been refreshing with regularity since about 10 this morning. Guess I got real lucky.
